Reading Ancient Greek can be hard going. There is a lot of looking words up and then piecing them together across unusual word orders before you can begin to start constructing a translated sentence. For this reason I created iliad.rocks.

It lets me twiddle about with the Iliad on my smartphone or tablet. I can look up a word with a tap and get a translation of the surrounding context with a second tap. For the scholar in me, I can even get some commentary on the line with a third tap.

I didn't collect all this data myself of course. It comes from the Perseus Project. You can see a little about the internals of the site at my github page.
